Is your child artistic?  Does he or she like to draw, take photos, or use some other medium to express himself or herself?  ALTA, Academic Language Therapy Association, is an organization that Tutoring to Go, LLC is associated with as the administrator, Erin Pizzo, is a Certified Academic Language Practitioner, CALP.  Through this membership your child is eligible to participate in a scholarship focusing on art.  Please read the following excerpt to find out more.  Click on the circle icon on the left side of side of this page to get the official requirements.

Dear ALTA member,

 

The ALTA Foundation is pleased to announce the annual I Believe in Myself Scholarship. Current students (ages 9 through 17) of ALTA members in good standing are eligible to submit entries to the scholarship committee. Applicants submit a short original essay explaining why art is important in their life. One (1) piece of work which demonstrates their artistic interest may also be submitted. The winner will be announced at the ALTA annual conference and will receive a $250 scholarship towards art lessons of their choice during the following summer. Joan Hogge, an ALTA member, has graciously provided funding for this scholarship. In addition to the I Believe in Myself scholarship, Ms. Hogge will donate 5% of all proceeds from her web site to the ALTAFoundation Scholarship Fund.
